Library Haul

Well recently I found out that my college library card also gave me access to the eight county libraries when I live. I have definitely been taking advantage of the access to these libraries and have rented over 25 books already. They let you take out up to 100 at a time, so it’s crazy to think I have a quarter of that borrowed and sitting in my room. Anyways, I will be posting a lot of reviews within the next few weeks before classes start up for the fall. I really want to get through as many books as I can because I don’t know how much work my professors are going to be assigning me. I will still be blogging, just more likely to be down to 2 books a week as opposed to the 3-4 I have been doing lately. Anyways I thought I’d post a giant list of the books I got so you can see what reviews I have in store for you over the next few weeks. I’m going to try to put them in the order I will be reading and reviewing them because some were rented earlier than others and therefore are due back earlier. So here are the 22 books I currently have out and will be reading and reviewing in the next few weeks:

-Liv, Forever by Amy Talkington (Review posted today!)

-The Sound by Sarah Alderson

-Since You’ve Been Gone By Morgan Matson

-Bittersweet by Miranda Beverly-Whittemore

-Teach Me by R.A. Nelson (?)

-Live Through This by Mindi Scott (?)

– The Lifeguard by Deborah Blumenthal

-Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma

-After the End by Amy Plum

-Tease by Amanda Maciel

– Broken by CJ Lyons

-Frost by Marianna Baer

-Meet Me at the River by Nina de Gramont

– Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige

-Prama by Jamie Ponti (?)

-Riptide by Lindsey Scheibe

– The Last Forever by Deb Caletti

-Without Tess by Marcella Pixley

-Two or Three Things I Forgot to Tell You by Joyce Carol Oates

-The Storyteller by Antonia Michaelis

-Long Lankin by Lindsey Barraclough

There are a few books I’m not sure if I’ll get to and those are the ones with the question marks next to them. If I don’t get to them this time, I’ll rent them again and read them because they’re still on my TBR list. I also have a few books I bought almost a month ago now that I still have to get to and will be receiving two ARC’s in the mail from a tour group I joined within the next week. I will definitely be kept busy until the fall and will try to get as many books as possible read and reviewed by them. Keep a look out on my blog for new reviews and you can now follow my blog’s Instagram account at confessionsofabookaholicblog and I will be posting a picture of the cover as I post the reviews, so you can stay updated on there as well.

Book Haul

Last post of the day I promise! In my previous review of Dangerous Girls, I mentioned I did a small book haul. Now mind you, this is small in my terms. I used to buy 30-40 some used books from Amazon at a time. I went to Barnes and Noble, as well as this other book store called Books A Million and I bought two more yesterday at BJ’s because they’re priced really good there. Anyways here are the books I bought and the reviews that will be posted within the next few weeks:

-Monument 14: Savage Drift by Emmy Laybourne

-Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas

-Summer State of Mind by Jen Calonita

-Fever by Lauren DeStefano

-Ashes by Ilsa J Bick

-Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin

-Stay by Deb Caletti

-Paper Towns by John Green

-172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad

-The Enemy by Charlie Higson

-This Star Won’t Go Out by Esther Earl, Wayne Earl, and Lori Earl

I am currently halfway done This Star Won’t Go Out which I got for $11 at BJ’s. Not bad at all. So look out for reviews on those books within the next few weeks.
